Engaging in conversations as opposed to just saying - "Buy My Sh**!! - is vital to prospecting success. I am using several different methods to make this work. (commenting on blogs for one, lol)

Don't get me wrong, I spend time asking people to look at my business too, but more of my efforts go into creating an online presence, and yes attraction marketing or Magnetic Sponsoring as Mike Dillard calls it.

Key for me is the ability to put a daily routine in place. Routine quickly becomes second nature for me, so it is a necessity or I will wallow and flounder. Lol

Getting personal stuff out of the proffessional life requires a lot of courage and strength I have been there before. Well this year I have got rid of the fear but the new me requires a little more believing in myself. The only way I got rid of fear was doing the fearful things and I don't think there is any other way. As you said taking action is the only way to see the results. Great Post.

Good information you have shared. I will call that specialization. Now there is Doctor in my locality who is a kidney specialist. People look up to him for their relevant problems even though he charges exorbitant price for his service. Yes you go much far if you specialize and find you niche. thanks for the post.

I like this post alot and it is rich in sound advice. One of the key things that hit me was your pointing out that your most effective USP byline was HONEST. How refreshing to hear a clear and honest voice in the marketing world! I think this is a very intelligent and balanced article. I would point out that the key to any internet based business is definately building your leads; whether thats prospects to buy, affiliates or mlm downline. But I agree wholeheartedly that you have to be honest about where you're at. If not, then, you're only going to disappoint a lot of people and delude yourself. But you do need to build leads. I am involved with an MLM company that has strict rules regarding making false claims and so on. I think that fact that people don't have to invest any money at the outset is a better incentive to new sign-ups than crazy boasts from pseudo-millionaires. So, you need to build your leads but it has to be HONEST. This article, in any case, has really helped me to focus on my own USP which I can't share here because that would turn this from a comment into an advert! Thanks Rachel for a very useful post.

That is the only way to deal with fear. It is not only the fear but also the high energy required to move out of the comfort zone because the change we are going to make is uncertain. But if we have to grow we have to deal with it. No shortcut to success. It's just taking action and that too massive. Great Post!
